KMHB supports tenant's well-being through the Atautsikut campaign

The message is simple: “ᐊᑕᐅᑦᓯᑯᑦ, ᐱᐅᓯᕙᓪᓕᐊᓚᐅᕐᑕ.  Together, we get better”

Through our Pivallianiq program, we decided to partner with the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services to put in place the Atautsikut campaign to hammer home this very important message: Never hesitate to ask for help.

The pandemic affected us all to some extent, and it is important to create a safe dialogue surrounding mental health and suicide prevention among young Nunavimmiut. It is in our mandate to offer comfort and safe housing to our tenants, but this mandate also extends to their well-being.

Everyone in the community can play a role in addressing mental health in a positive way, and it is important to Reach out whenever is needed.

The campaign is accompanied by a series of videos displaying core values like Strength, Pride and Positivity. There are six videos in total, published on our social medias.

Check out the six videos here:

      1. Together, we take pride
      2. Together, for a positive mental health
      3. Together, we get help
      4. Together, we are resilient
      5. Together, we see the signs
      6. Together, we offer help

Have a nice viewing!
